Recap and Whats To Come
OK, so if you happen to follow along with us on facebook at all, you may already know the results. Huntington Beach has always been a tough tournament and this time around was no different. We ended the tournament with a record of 3-5. Now usually that kind of record wont get you on to Sunday, but ironically there were only a small group of teams that really put on a strong showing in the prelims. This left the door open for the teams, like ourselves, with a lesser record. After all the points were added up, we had fallen short of Sunday by 3 points. That was a huge bummer for everyone on the team.
Even though we failed to make, the team showed a lot of improvement in some areas that have been big issues in the past. Everyone sees these improvements and is in good spirits coming out of HB. We have 5 weeks worth of practice before the next event in Chicago. We will not be practicing this weekend but we’ll pick right up where we left off next weekend. We’re all real hungry to get back on the field and put on a strong showing in Chicago. Hope to see a lot of you at practice or the event, its going to be a grind!
Unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to post as many pictures that I would have liked so far. Hopefully within the next couple days Ill have some more photos from HB posted up for you viewing pleasure.
